MAKE YOUR OWN FAST FOOD

I treated my two sons to a fast food breakfast every Saturday morning.
They thought that this was a real treat because I prepared most of their meals at home.  I usually prepared a fast food inspired meal on Friday  nights.  Sometimes I would let them prepare the Friday night meals with
my supervision.  My sons took turns preparing the Friday night meals after they became teenagers.  They decided what they wanted to prepare and
they did a good job.  They are grown up now and prepare their own fast
food  meals.  They told me that they enjoy watching cooking shows and experiment with gourmet meals.

Tip: Recipe ingredients are in bold letters. Read the recipes before you start cooking.

Family Favorite  Burgers

Place 1 lb. ground beef in bowl and add  1/2 cup dry bread crumbs, 1 tsp.

steak seasoning.  Mix well with clean hands.  Form 4 patties and brown

both sides on hot grill pan or cast iron skillet.  Patties are done  when  the

middle is firm to touch.

Tip:  Brown burgers on one side  and cover burgers while other side
browns.  They will be juicy and cook faster

Combine 2 cups cooked shredded chicken, 1 cup shredded jack cheese, and ¼ cup drained green chilies.  Fill half of tortilla with the chicken mixture and cheese, then fold over the other half.  Repeat these steps with the remaining tortilla shells. Arrange the quesadillas on a greased cookie sheet.  Bake in preheated 350 degree oven until light brown and cheese has melted.  Cut each quesadilla into 4 wedges. Serve with salsa.

Easy Honey Hot Wings
